WOVENSTONE
In the small town of Tippinstoop, gluck farmer Gavin Stork’s world is suddenly shaken to its core by the contents of his mother’s old trunk. Then, when confronted by an unusual visitor seeking refuge, he must come to terms with his mother’s hidden loyalties and decide whether or not to take them on as his own.

When I began working on the first hints of what would become the Wovenstone Trilogy, I had no idea the scope to which the story would grow. What began as a simple story testing the waters of Christian fantasy grew and morphed into a character-centered journey of war, trust, truth, and betrayal. Now, over six years later, the completion of the series is finally in sight.
Yet, even on the heels of completeing the first draft of book three, The Forgotten Race, there are still several large steps standing between the Wovenstone Trilogy and the printers. Thanks to the help of volunteer readers and editors who have given their time and talents to helping me finalize book one, Destiny’s Course, the next stage in this process will see me dutifully working to get it on the desks of publishers and agents even as I continue polishing the next two manuscripts.
So what does that mean for the future of the series? Truthfully, only time will tell. Finding a publisher can be a long, arduous process, yet while I don’t pretend to be the next Lewis or Tolkien of Christian fiction, I truly believe that the story of Wovenstone is worth the battle, and I am committed to doing everything in my power to help it succeed.
However, while dedication and persistence are certainly important in accomplishing that goal, connections and resources are invaluable as well; two things often in short supply for younger writers such as myself. That is where you come in. Just as it takes more than a hero to carry a story, it takes more than the author to carry a series. If you would like to help in bringing The Wovenstone Trilogy to a wider audience as well as help support the dwindling genre of Christian fantasy, there are several simple steps you can take:
